The idea of Peak Gourmet was born whilst hiking and climbing in the mountains of the Eastern Cape. As we all know, some of the best moments after a long day is dinner time. Since carrying fresh food is oftentimes not practical, we sought to create a selection of great tasting, light weight meals that will provide the necessary nutrition and energy to sustain you during your outing.
Because food is also our passion, all of our meals have been created from fresh and local produce, containing no artificial ingredients. Instead, we have used the ancient preservation technique of dehydration to preserve the meals. The end result is light-weight meals full of flavour.
